SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping

How are shipments managed?
Ghergo.net acts exclusively as an intermediary between importers and exporters. All products offered on our platform are shipped directly by the exporter, under the logistical and commercial conditions agreed upon in each transaction.

Who is responsible for transport and delivery?
The exporter is responsible for preparing, dispatching, and delivering the goods according to the agreed terms (e.g., Incoterms). Ghergo.net oversees compliance with the agreements and supports both parties throughout the process, but does not transport or store products.

Can I track my order?
Yes. Once the transaction is confirmed, you will receive your order details. We will also keep you updated on its status as the shipment progresses (for example: booking details and copies of draft shipping documents so you can verify that all documentation is in order before any original documentation is issued). Our team is also available to assist you on any questions or issues.

What happens if there are delays or problems with the shipment?
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, logistics, and customs regulations. If any issues arise, Ghergo.net will act as an intermediary to facilitate communication and resolution, although we do not assume direct responsibility for delays or incidents beyond our control.

Returns

Can I return the goods received?
Since the products traded through Ghergo.net are bulk commodities, managing returns is extremely complex and, in most cases, unfeasible due to logistical, sanitary, and product integrity reasons. For this reason, returns will only be considered in exceptional situations, such as serious defects or clear errors in the order.

In such cases, the preferred solution will be to seek an agreement between the parties, which may include financial compensation, credit notes, or partial replacement in future transactions, as appropriate and mutually agreed. The physical return of goods will only be considered if logistical and sanitary conditions allow, and always under strict coordination between the exporter, the buyer, and Ghergo.net.

What is the time frame for claims?
You must report any claim within 10 calendar days of receiving the goods, attaching the relevant documentation and evidence (invoice, photos, etc.). After this period, claims will not be accepted unless expressly agreed by the parties.

Which products are not eligible for return?
Returns are not accepted for perishable products, bulk foods that have been opened, handled, or mixed, or for customized goods, unless they present defects or contractual errors.

What if the goods arrive damaged or in poor condition?
If the goods show transport damage or do not meet the agreed specifications, you must notify Ghergo.net and the exporter immediately, attaching evidence. The claim will be managed according to the contract terms and insurance coverage, if applicable.
